Frequently Asked Questions

Last updated: March 13, 2026

1. Is AI content detectable by Google?

Google officially states that content quality matters more than who wrote it. Writvia generates expert articles with specific data and unique insights, not generic AI filler. Our clients have not experienced any Google penalties.

2. Do I need WordPress?

No. Writvia publishes static HTML directly to your server via FTP. It works with any hosting provider. WordPress is not required.

3. Does Writvia update my main sitemap?

Writvia generates and maintains a sitemap for your blog folder automatically. To connect it with your main sitemap, you simply add one line pointing to it during onboarding. We guide you through this.

4. What languages does Writvia support?

Writvia publishes in six languages: English, German, French, Polish, Spanish and Italian. You pick one on Starter, up to three on Pro and Agency. Other languages are not available. If you need one, tell us and we will say whether we can add it and when.

5. How long does setup take?

Most clients are up and running within 3 to 4 days. Day 1: you tell us about your business. Days 2 to 3: we configure the system. Day 4: you approve the first article and the system starts publishing automatically.

6. Can I review articles before they go live?

During the initial setup, you approve the first article. After that, the system publishes automatically. If you want to review articles before publishing, let us know and we can configure a manual approval step.

7. What happens if I cancel?

All articles published to your server remain yours permanently. They stay live on your domain after cancellation. You only lose access to future article generation and automatic publishing.

8. What kind of articles does Writvia generate?

Writvia generates expert blog articles tailored to your industry. Each article includes a unique topic, SEO-optimized structure, meta tags, Open Graph data, Schema.org JSON-LD, and a sidebar linking your other articles. Articles typically range from 800 to 1,500 words depending on the topic.

9. Do I need to provide topics?

You provide your industry, areas of expertise, and general direction during onboarding. We turn that into a list of topics with you before the first article goes out. Writvia then works through the list on its own, one topic at a time. You can also suggest specific topics at any time.

10. Is there a setup fee?

You start for free on a demo page during your 14-day trial. If you decide to continue, we migrate everything to your domain for a one-time fee of €99. This covers domain configuration, blog setup, FTP integration, and the first round of QA testing.
